FAQ

Who makes your products?

We hire women in Wyoming that have the skills such as sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc…

Are you a non-profit?

We are!  We are grant funded per the Ellbogen Foundation, The Allstate Foundation and St. Matthews Cathedral.  We also have a for-profit section of the business called Yin Industries that employs the women who produce products.  They are paid a living wage and the rest of the money goes back into the project to provide continued eduction and to help sustain all of fundamentals of the business.

Who can apply for classes?

Women ages 15 and up!  We are currently focusing on educating women that need to learn a skill for whatever reason they see fit.  We also welcome the women to consider producing products for a supplemental income.  We are not currently set up to provide education for children or men.  We do recommend 4-H, the Karen Lewis Fiber Studio (Branch of the Wyoming Women’s Business Center) and Cowgirl Yarn for classes.
